Flemish Béguinages

Today we drove from Brussels to Bruges. It took only about an hour! Mom was impressed with everything here, from houses, streets, church and people, much more than Brussels. Everything and everywhere made us feel so clean. First I walked in the park near Flemish Béguinages and we found swan hatching her eggs! After lunch, we was on the boat tour along the river for sightseeing. With all good view all along and good air, it was so great! It took about 30 minutes. Next visit was Basilica of the Holy Blood and then Grote Markt the place for marathon tournament today. Good atmosphere with music from the band. Then we climbed to the top of the Belfort. Although it was so high but I didnt feel tired at all especially after seeing the view from up there, it was good!

Grand Platz

Today we took a bus from our hotel to Grand Platz, the main square in Brussels. We walked around to see Jeanneke Pis because it was so close to where we were but didnt so excited about it so we walked to the shopping street with nice smell of chocolate from start and though we didnt much like Chocolate, we could resist and bought some to taste while walking. After that we got into the museum next to Grand Platz to see Manneken Pis's wardrobe. There were so many in different countries' style! Then we walked to see the real Manneken Pis and had Belgian waffles which we could choose our own topping! Our dinner for today was the famous Belgian food, Mussels. It was so good and the best part was that I, children, could order one dish free of charge!!
