Disney Studio Paris, France

Mermaid took a picture with me
during parade
We were ready to go to Disney Studio at 10am this morning. Right beside the entrance, I saw children queuing for a photo with Minnie Mouse so I lined up too and it took only about 10 minutes to be my turn. It was unbelievable because in Disneyland Tokyo, you had to line up for about 1 or 2 hours before it would be your turn to get near any characters and even longer for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.  When it was my turn, I said "Hello, my name is Julina, today is my birthday and I am 5years old". Minnie Mouse was so kind, she wrote "Happy birthday" and signed her name for me and gave me a big hug and kiss! After a while, we met Mickey Mouse too and I did the same and got big kisses from him too! We didn't expect much from Disney Studio as Disneyland but it was so good and I met all my favorites I wanted to. We had been inside from 10am until the closing time, 7pm and I would never forget today!

Disney Paris, France

So exciting standing next to
the princess
Finally It was today, the happiest day of my life (during this trip!). We went to Disney Paris! I had been waitting for today since the first day of our trip this time! We arrived the Disney hotel at 10am in the morning, checked in and rushed to Disneyland!Dad bought 2 days ticket for today and tomorrow for both of theme parks in Disney Paris. I chose to go to the Disney today! It was not crowded as in Disneyland Tokyo so we could pass through any attractions very fast! I could not meet neither MickeyMouse or Minnie Mouse today but had a photo with princesses already! I also watched Michael show and ET too. During the parade, Captain Hook took my hands among the audience and danced with me! It was so unbelievable for today so I could not help crying after the parade had gone! It was sad but I still had another day tomorrow!!

Pink castle

Fun house!
Oh! no! don't go away!

Did you see me?
First time for two-storey bed! Love it!

the Cathedral of Amiens, France

We would have to drive back to Amsterdam from France today. As usual, we stopped at a world heritage site on the way, the Cathedral of Amiens.  I didn't know much about the world heritage but I thought that all of them as I had been visited while in Europe, was so wonderful!
Fantastic!

Impressed by its simplicity!

Mont Saint Michel, France

First impression!
We left the hotel this morning to Mont Saint Michel! The other main destination for this trip. It was so  Impressed the first time you saw Mont Saint Michel from a distance, It looked like a heaven in the cloud! Mom ranked this as the first favorite among all we had visited so far, above Edinburgh. We parked the car and took like a million photos with Mont Saint Michel in the back. Mom took out picnic sheet from the car trunk and with some snacks and drinks, we were all set! A picnic in a very beautiful scenery! After satisfied by the view near parking lot, we walked passed through a lot of shops to the cathedral inside and all of us agreed that the view from the outside was much better than that from inside!  If you come here, don't forget to take a walk around the island, enjoy the outside view before you get in!
The best picnic ever!

Le Havre, France

Today we visited a world heritage site of Normandy, Le Havre. We stopped at the Tourist Information of the city. It was so new and clean office with a plenty of parking area around plus clean toilet and free internet. This was the first place you should visit after a long drive to this city! Dad did not know exactly where to go in this World heritage city so we just relaxed by the beach while I was playing in the big park nearby. I thought that dad should have studied more before the trip! After that we just went for shopping at Carrefour and had dinner at the sea food restaurant nearby. We had mussels, fish soup, etc and all was very delicious!

Mussel, yum!

MUMM champagne, France

We drove to Champagne, a historic province in the Northeast of France today. It took about 8 hours from Munich. We arrived about 3pm and rushed to the MUMM champagne factory for the factory tour.  The last group for tour started at 5pm and we arrived at 5pm!!! just in time!  After a tour and learning about how to make good champagne, it was time for tasting which mom and dad were looking forward to…You can choose what type of champagne and how many glasses to taste when you bought the ticket because the price would be included in the ticket price. After champagne tasting, dad bought a souvenir, a set of MUMM champagne glasses with a bottle of MUMM champagne. After that we just walked around the city and bought dinner and got back to our hotel.

guide book too!

Strasbourg, France

Here where we used P&R,
very convenient
I ate breakfast in the hotel slowly and went to the city of Strasbourg  around noon. Using the P & R, only 2.9 euro for round-trip train for all 3 of us + 3Euro for  parking! Yesterday we paid 6 euros for the parking but after driving around for 30 minutes finding the available parking lot!  It was more convenient and easier this way!

A lot of stairs and up high
but I'm not scared!
View from top of the Cathedral

We got into the department stores for a while, mom got a boy sweater (for herself) and a soft and comforting pillow (again, for herself)! Then we went to Strasbourg Cathedral once again at about 2pm. Today I climbed the narrow stairs up to the top. I didn't count but it felt like a million stairs and it got up  higher and higher from the view outside that I was a little scared and I made it to the top. How great! The view from the top was breathtaking. We went to the Rohan Palace nearby after got down from top of the Cathedral and  arrived at the Central Station without knowing while you were wandering around. The Central Station was the interesting building looking like a stadium with glass. In the evening, we had salad , steak, onion soup and 2 foie gras dishes (… the large pieces of foie gras probably served for 6 persons if we ordered in Japan) in the vicinity of the cathedral. Very happy Mommy!

We could see all detail of the roof!
