Bohemian Glass in Prague and Pilsner Beer in Plzen, Czech Republic

With the recommendation from the hotel staff, today we went to Moser Bohemian glass factory. 125CZK/person for only the blowing of the glass process visit and then the museum! We had expected more like the engraving process too, so quite disappointed! The shop nearby the factory was not the outlet and as it was the product for royalty and celebrity around the world, the price was not affordable for us, indeed! So we bought nothing and left to our next visit of today, the world famous beer factory of Pilsner in Plzen city.  The 2 hours factory tour was150CZK/person including a beer tasting at the end of the tour! Impressive!

The Charles Bridge and the Prague castle

Today we went to Prague Castle. It rained all day but because mostly we were inside the building so not much trouble! First to Vito church, when we were climbing up the stairs to the top, a old lady who was walking down and passing us saw me and she told us that I was still to young and that it was impossible for me to make it to the top! She didn't know me well!!! I easily made it to the top and faster than my mom!!! After that we walked around the castle and to the cathedral nearby and had light lunch with some snacks. Rain finally stopped by the time we finished the castle tour so we walked to the Charles Bridge and to the National Theater and then to the oldest beer hall in Prague. Delicious meals and beer with musical performance, it was fun!

The Prague Astronomical Clock and the old town square in Prague, Czech Republic

After breakfast at the hotel, we had the hotel staff to send us off to the Tram station. We got off tram at the powder gate station and walked from here to the old town square. A lot of Bohemia glass and Marionette shops were along the way as well as a lot of beautiful old buildings. We walked to the Astronomical Clock tower and by the elevator we could go to the top easily to see the beautiful view of the city. After that we walked to the Charles Bridge. We wanted to kept the rest for tomorrow so we walked back to the powder gate again. We stopped at the restaurant on the way, dad had beer and I and mom had some snacks and ice cream. After that we went back to the hotel, changed our dress for a special dinner for mom' s birthday at Gabriele Ristorante. We got lost for a while but finally we could make it to the restaurant safely. Appetizers were good, also carpaccio and pasta too. The last fish dish was also delicious. We ordered 3 kinds of desserts and mom ate almost all happily.  At the end, unexpectedly, the restaurant didn't accept credit card and dad didn't have enough cash so he had to leave us in the restaurant and walked out to find the ATM! After dinner, we walked around to see the night view of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, it was superb! No doubt we heard a lot of this town before!

Holasovice Historical Village Reservation of Czech Republic

Historical building
Today we spent our morning in the hotel, had good breakfast in the historical room. After breakfast, we took a tour around the hotel and I found swing set on the roof floor of the hotel and spent quite a time there before walked to the next door church where the pipe organ was playing. Another of world heritage city was just about an hour by car on the way to Muncih so dad stopped by there. It was a very, very small old city with about 20 houses around approximately 800 meters square. The whole town could be seen form the square.  One of the house was  a Historical Museum which was a warehouse in the backyard showing tools that has been used in old time. A museum guide was an old man speaking English and very kind.
