Krakow, Poland

Statue of Adam Mickiewicz and
Sukiennice
In the morning we took the shuttle bus at 10:00am from the hotel to the Central staion that we walked through to the Old town square and went to the Wawel Royal Castle. It took more than 30 minutes to queue up for buying a ticket for the cave of the dragon and the tour of the room of the king.

In the evening, we walked back to the old town square and had dinner in the cafe of the square. We had Poland dumplings as recommended by the guide book but it was not so impressive. The other dish that we loved more was bread with pork fat paste. It was so delicious but I was worried about my dad's weight after this!  We would have to leave Poland tomorrow and we still had another  51PLN of Poland money left so we looked for something to buy to use up our money.  I wanted to buy a decoration that costed 70PLN so  Mom negotiated with the shop person and got an OK for the price of 51PLN together with another toy free of charge for me too!!! Krakow people was so kind!

Muskau, Poland and Germany

Park entrance was quite difficult to find
Today we went to the world's heritage Muskau park. We arrived before noon.  In the park, you would find the border of German and Poland separated by the small bridge! Beside the border of 2 countries in the park, we found a big bush with entrance and you would find the big room inside, it was quite fun. Felt like Alice in the Wonderland!!! We had snacks along the walk and walked back to the new castle and played ball and Frisbee in the garden just in front of the garden.

Leaving the park, we drove to Poland again. It was a small just right next to the German border. Once you passed through the border line, it was very easy to realize that it was a diffirent country, suddenly the surrounding like houses, shops, people were totally different! We parked the car in before the border in Germany side and walked into Poland, crossing the bridge like the one in the park. The atmosphere was not much friendly, mom was worried so we spent just about 15mins and went back to the car. Dad still did not feel enough of Poland today and he drove us into Poland again without knowing the destination but just looked at the car navigation and went straight to the nearest city, named Zary. We found nothing interesting so just drove around and went back home!
