London Tower England

We parked the car in the parking lot near Tower Bridge as last time and walked to the Tower Bridge. We bought a ticket to get inside today. We had been here before but this would be our first time to get inside. Many beautiful room inside as expected. Next we went  to the Tate Modern Museum for the most expensive painting in the world (at that time) which was Picasso's. I was a bit down thinking why nobody wanted to pay for my painting as much as for Picasso's! Next we went to see the place where Princess Diana got married, very beautiful place!

Wimbledon and Kew Garden in England

We visited Wimbledon today.  After wandering around for a while and still could not find where to park our car, we went to ask the security guard at the entrance and with our surprise he let us park right beside the main building free of charge, lucky us! Dad bought a ticket to join the tour and we visited the small museum while waiting for our turn. It was quite good museum with some buttons that you could try!  We had been guided to many  places inside during the tour including Centre Court and press room. We had a lunch in the cafe after the tour and left for our next destination, Kew Gardens. We had time for only half of  the area because it was already 4:30pm when we arrived there.  I had a lot of fun playing in the park for children with pretty big flowers that we could climb into like a bug and the green house with beautiful real flowers! After finished we joined the Fun Fair in a nearby park and got the big soccer ball because I won the game and I was very happy.

Blenheim Palace England

Today was a big day for England, Royal Wedding day. We went to Blenheim Palace today. We arrived in the afternoon and bought the ticket for the entrance and was given a free one year membership card with your photo on by return!! They said that I was still too young and didnt need a ticket for entrance so I could get the one year membership card, too bad!!  After tour inside the Palace we played Frisbee and soap bubbles in the garden. It was quite crowded today because people came here to join the Royal Wedding in front of the big screen for live broadcast!! Everybody seemed so excited and happy!  while watching the Royal Wedding together in a big TV in the garden. I was so glad I could join them in this important day too!

Durham Castle England

Scotland !
Last night after arrived England, we checked in to the hotel near airport and woke up early to start our trip to Scotland today at 9am. On the way to Scotland, our first stop after 5:30hrs was Durham Castle, World Heritage Site. I bought sandwiches from Subway and we had lunch on the lawn in front of the Durham Castle. After that we drove for another 2:30hrs and finally arrived Edinburgh. It was too late for sightseeing today so we just went to HRC for souvenirs and bought some water and food and had dinner in the hotel room. Quite a long day today!

London, England

London bus!

By driving about 5 hours, we were in  London today! We parked our car near the Tower Bridge with only 2 euros per day!  Dad always parked car here every time he was in London. We took a photo of London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Dad told me that people usually misunderstood about Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Today I walked a bit from Tower bridge, the big one with 2 towers, to a small bridge nearby which was the real London Bridge.  One of my favorite song since I was still a baby was London Bridge is falling down... and it was great to be able to see the real one!

After that, we used subway to see Big Ben and walked to the Westminster Abbey which would be used for the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William in the next few month. I heard the story of the big clock named "Ben" from mom before coming to the United Kingdom and I was so glad to meet him today! After that we went back to Tower Bridge again to take our car and headed to the airport. The traffic was not so good as expected but we made it to the airport just in time!

England, The Magical Mystery Tour in Liverpool!

We drove from Manchester to Liverpool today. We stopped by at the Penny Lane first and took a lot of pictures in front of the church that Paul was singing when he was a child! Then, joined the Magical Mystery Tour. We went to many places that uncle John and uncle Paul used to visit a long time ago, Papa was so impressed ~ ~ ~  After the tour, we went to the other important place for The Beatles, Cavan club. Then once again we went back to Penny Lane and strawberry Field. The gate of Strawberry Fields at that time was still the original one, but my dad told me that after we visited the gate was changed to the copy one and preserve the original one somewhere. We was so lucky!

HRC in Manchester, England

Here we are! my dad's favorite!
We drove to  Manchester today. First time in Manchester but we arrived at night, not much time for sightseeing so we just went to the big mall and my dad got some souvenirs from HRC, as usual.

Stone Hedge and Roman bath of England

From today we would go to UK! This would be my first time in UK! Our flight was 10:30 and we arrived London around noon. First stop after we got on the rental car was Stone Hedge. The wind was so cold but the sky was so clear too so we got a good picture for today with no doubt! Only one thing that we worried was my mom because she did not feel well since last night but she seemed fine. We got the headphone from the entrance - everywhere we went we could hear the explanation by pushing the number of the spots, it was very easy to understand. The next stop was English bath. I heard the name was also the name of this town. However many area had been renovated newly so it didn't have much historical look! Anyway, the city was very beautiful.
How did they do this?
