World heritage village of Hungary, Holloko

Holloko Village
From Budapest by car to World Heritage village in an hour and a half, we visited Holloko today. It was a small and cute village that was good for leisure time. However I was realized that I forgot my favorite Lillifee princess bag at the hotel we just left this morning so could hardly enjoyed the village much. We walked to the old castle on the mountain, and bought a cup and candles as a souvenir and rushed back to Budapest again to find my favorite Lillifee princess bag at the hotel! I was so happy and relieved when the hotel staff handed me my bag! After that we checked in the hotel for today and just walked around nearby the hotel and found MacDonald inside the historical building, it was cool! During the walk we located the mall called West End near west end area with Thai food court for our dinner.  Dad bought wine and juice and beer in the supermarket and went back to the hotel.

Budapest, Hungary

Our trip was Budapest today, first to the Royal Palace. We walked to the top of Castle hill to Royal Palace, Matthias Church (990HUF), Fisherman's Bastion (500HUF). There was an admission fee for visiting the church which was not quite usual in Europe but inside the church was very beautiful and worth it. View from Fishermen's Bastion was also wonderful. After that we walked to the Chain Bridge and the Danube Promenade. After a long walk, we stopped at Costa Coffee shop and had 2 cups of delicious mango juice while we could use free and clean toilet too. Then we went to St. Stephen's Basilica which was just around the corner and toured inside to the top of the observatory level. I climbed the stairs, but found out later that there was an elevator! The view from here was also wonderful. To Hero Square we walked pass the Andrassy Avenue and got into the park in the back of the street where we got some nice souvenirs from the shops overthere. The we went to see the first subway train in Europe and went to MacDonald's, had some hamburgers and I took a nap before we went off again for the night view and back to the hotel.
