After breakfast and check out from the hotel, we went to the Mirabell Gardens. It was very beautiful even during winter. We took a lot of pictures of places we found in the movie, the sound of music! Before leaving Salzburg to Herrenchiemsee, we tasted Austria cake in the shop in front of the Garden. It was the old shop and tasted good!! Dad filled in the gas tank before leaving because the price of gas in Austria was about 10-20% cheaper than the price in Germany. The next stop was the famous Schloss Herrenchiemsee in Prien, Germany, built by Ludwig II. The tour inside the castle took about 55 minutes. The construction of the castle was the most expensive one among the three castles built by Ludwig II, as the result, it was gorgeous!
