5 stars hotel in town! |
Starting around 8:30 am, we drove to Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic. On the way, we stopped at McDonald near the border. There was no other resting place so far. Surprisingly, it was very clean and new. Then we continued crossing the border into Czech Republic. The car rental staff in Germany warned dad about the road in Czech Republic but the road so far was fine and no problem at all. Arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. This hotel named Rouge hotel had a long history of over 500 years. The 5 stars hotel was located next to the Church of St.Vitus, the building used as a Jesuit seminary during Renaissance. The hotel was cozy, clean with the safety car park. Cesky Krumlov was not so big and very beautiful. We walked to the castle and shops. Mom bought Czech's bread which tasted very good. It took us about 4 hours to walk and see all around the city. It was very beautiful specially the view from across the river on the back of hotel. Our dinner was in a local restaurant hidden in the small street. We had garlic soup, onion soup which was the specialty in this city, Pork neck steak and potato cake and 2 glasses of beer and wine and ended with grille set. All was so good and it costed only 3500yen. It was cheap and delicious!
