Florence, Italy
The traffic to Florence was quite bad this morning but we arrived Florence around 1:30pm finally. From the hotel outside the town to the city of Florence, we used the hotel shuttle at 3:00pm and got off the bus at the central station, bought a ticket for tomorrow tour at the Uffizi Gallery and off to Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and went to Duomo. Inside was unexpectedly very simple. We went off the building and was about to go to tour the roof when the staff told us that it was already closed! I had an ice cream and we changed our plan to visit Campanile di Giotto which was not crowded and had a good view of Duomo too! Next we went to San Giovanni chapel, the gold ceiling was very beautiful. The last for today was Hard Rock Cafe and I found merry-go-round on the way to the hotel too, it was fun today!
