Hello my name is Julina, born in 2006. This is my diary about my visits to a lot of interesting places. Below is "Julina" song, made by my papa. Enjoy!

Hamburg, Germany

Thank you, Santa Clause!
I'm so looking forward to seeing
you again next X'mas!
Today was the day, Christmas day that I had been waiting for! Presents from Santa Claus had arrived when I woke up this morning! I was so thrilled to see a mountain of presents by the window that I put my letter to Santa Claus on last night. This was really what a good girl would get. A pink digital camera with a pink camera pouch and a lot of fun books as I requested. Thank you very much, Santa Claus!  So I dressed up and with my pink camera set, we headed off to tour the town. Started with Rathaus near the hotel and had our brunch at Starbucks nearby and walked a around a bit more until we felt so cold so we walked back to the hotel to get a car. The weather was so cold to walk around so we would drive around today! Then we went to the St. Michael Church and climbed to the top of the tower to see the brick town.  After that we came back to the hotel again and walked to the shop nearby to have some snacks. It was too cold today so we didn't feel like go out again so we all went to play at the hotel pool and that was all for today!

Hamburg and Lübeck, Germany

Our destination of today was Hamburg. On the way, we stopped by at the World Heritage city, Lubeck. We parked our car at the parking lot of the mall nearby and walked around 10 minutes to the Old Town to see Holsten Gate, one of Germany's World heritage! There was a Christmas Market here too! The Christmas market was held in front of the church so we went inside for a look after some snacks and hot wine and found  the bell that fell down during the War and was left as it was to remind us about the War. That made me feel sad and realized how bad War was.
Then we moved to Hamburger. On the way, Dad just realized that it was a day before Christmas so most of the shops might be closed. As expected, The Beatles Museum that dad was looking forward to during this trip was closed today. . . So we just went to Beatlesplatz nearby and another dad's favorite place, HRC. Also we visited the Bar that the Beatle had a concert before while they were in this town. Just took a picture from outside but that made my dad happy already! Then we went back early to the hotel so I could go to the pool. As Santa Claus was supposed to bring some presents for me tonight based on the fact that I was quite a good girl this year.  So I went to bed early so that Santa Claus could come any time he wanted and I would dream about him tonight for sure!

Bremen, Germany

We left home early in the afternoon yesterday and arrived Bremen after seven and a half hours drive. It was a long ride so we got up late today around 8:30 and walked around the old town of Bremen after breakfast. There was Christmas market here too! I was allowed for 5 plays on anything I wanted today to inside Christmas Market of Bremen! Also so many foods to try. Dad had a lot of hot wine. It was very fun ! After a few Ferris wheel ride, I took a rest by having mushrooms which was so good.
After that we walked around to find the Musicians of Bremen. The rule was if I was the first who could find the Musicians of Bremen in the first, I could get another one more ride for today! We walked around for awhile before I could find it at the same time as my dad. So we decided who would be the first by rock-paper-scissors and I won!
From the Information Center nearby, There was an computer with e-mail service. It was not just that you could send an email but you could take a picture with background of Bremen famous spots and send it out to your friends free of charge!
In the afternoon, I was so tired so we went back to the hotel so I could take a nap and went back to the Christmas market again in the evening. At night just when everybody was packing up their stalls, a shop lady gave me a large cotton candy for free! It was fun until the end! :)
Found it!

Passau, the city of 3 rivers, Germany

We went to Passau, the city of 3 rivers, today. Danube, Inn and Ilz joined together here. First we headed to Veste Oberhaus on the hill, good spot to look down to see all 3 rivers became one. Then we were back to the car and drove to the Old town to the tip of the city where rivers met. The we went to the church where the largest pipe organ in the world located. After that we just enjoyed the Christmas market in front of the church. I loved strawberries covered with Chocolate and Sausages and hot wine for dad and mon.

Allianz Arena of Munich, Germany

We went to a soccer game of FC Bayern vs FC Köln at Allianz Arena today with my best friend from Kindergarten's dad.  FC Bayern was ended up with 10 people during the game but still 3-0 won! As it was the last game for this year so at the end, there was a spectacular Fire works. This was very beautiful! Different from what we had seen before and our first time for fire works inside the stadium!  Even if it looked like a dome but there was no roof. It was a bit rainy today and quite cold, but it was fun!
On the day of FC Bayern game, it was
lighten up with red and would be blue
when the other Munich's team played.

It was about to start now!
Last game for this year so all members
came out and gave a bow!

Without roof, quite freezing!

All fans inside the nearest train station.

All light and fire works were wonderful!

Linderhof Castle, Germany

In the morning, starting around 11am we went to the location of the last moment of the LudwigII (Lake Starberg). LudwigII's body was found here but like others we doubted because the place was just my dad's knee deep and LudwigII was like 190cm tall!
A little bit depressed after visited and saw the place, we left to another location for today, Linderhof Castle, another castle built by LudwigII. The smallest of the 3 castles he built but the only one which he lived to see completed. Maybe interior was the best compared to another castle LudwigII ever built. Versailles, the palace of the French king, an idol for LudwigII, was its inspiration.
On the way home, we stopped by at the monastery of Ettaru and visited Christmas market there which surprisingly charged for the entrance!  It had a different atmosphere, not so big and we had a nice soup there.

The town of Violin, Mittenwald, Germany

The statue in Town of Violin
Due to my request, we visited Town of violin, Mittenwald today! It was during Christmas season, so we could visit another Christmas market in this town too. We had our lunch with rice balls that mom made and hot wine and sausages from Christmas Market in front of the violin museum and then tour the violin museum after that and hanging around the town of Mittenwald for a while. Mom and Dad wanted to buy a new Violin for me from here so we droved around to find a violin shop. Turned out that the shops in this city was opened only until mid day on Saturday so we could not find any violin for me today, it was so bad but still it was good to visit the famous town of Violin today. It was a beautiful town.
Sign in front of Violin Museum, love it!
